Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has continued to be linked with a move to Chelsea in the summer, with Todd Boehly playing a key role in their pursuit of the Brazilian.
The move has seemed to gather pace over the past week, with reports in France earlier in the week claiming the US billionaire had met with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi in Paris. It's said that the 31-year-old's future was discussed and Boehly is accelerating plans to bring Neymar to Stamford Bridge.
Neymar's future in Paris looks increasingly likely to end after a number of disputes over the course of his time in France. Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi have both hijacked the initial spotlight on the former Barcelona man after he completed a world-record £200million move in 2017.

Boehly has spent close to £600million on new signings since completing his £4.25billion takeover, with the club-record and British record being smashed to sign Enzo Fernandez for £106million in January. It's expected the summer will follow a similar pattern, with football.london understanding Christopher Nkunku has signed a pre-contract agreement.
There's no underestimating the magnitude of a player like Neymar arriving at the club in the summer. However, Boehly's plans of signing the Brazilian could be scuppered already.
In PSG's Ligue 1 4-3 win over Lille on Sunday, Neymar was forced off injured in the 51st minute after appearing to twist the same ankle that he injured at the start of the World Cup. The injury seemed to take its toll on the forward, with him noticeably in severe pain and he was pictured leaving the field in tears.
Neymar scored his 18th goal of the season earlier in the contest to put PSG 2-0 up at the Parc des Princes. However, his season could be over after picking up another ankle injury.
According to transfermarkt, he has missed 172 days of action due to problems with his ankle during his time at PSG. Prior to the World Cup, he missed 12 games between November 2021 and February 2022 with a similar problem.
