Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has given his full commitment to Christophe Galtier and the new project in the French capital with his admission which likely brings an end to any Chelsea transfer links.
Neymar's future at the Parc des Princes has been largely up in the air since Nasser Al-Khelaifi made the brutal but bold decision to scrap the old regime, which resulted in the departures of Mauricio Pochettino and sporting director Leonardo. In came former Nice and Lille manager Galtier and super sporting director Luis Campos, with Al-Khelaifi stating the era of the 'bling bling' and glitter at PSG is over. Despite their appeal to attract the likes of Lionel Messi and other superstars from world football, that elusive Champions League trophy is still evading their reach.
Can Galtier now turn around their fortunes on the European stage? Well, he's already made his intentions to the 30-year-old known as his open invitation for the Brazilian to stay put for at least another season has been reciprocated by the player himself. This is despite Campos reportedly wanting to offload Neymar even on loan, with Chelsea and Man City linked.

That has not yet come to fruition with Pep Guardiola already denying any chances of his side moving for the PSG star, whilst the Blues' focus is currently on their defensive re-shape amid fresh Jules Kounde problems.
Whilst all attention from Chelsea and the fanbase is on the Kounde situation currently with the Barcelona threat looming largely, Neymar has made some significant comments on his future.
He said as per Fabrizio Romano: "I want to stay at Paris Saint-Germain. No one from the club told me anything about the plans for my future, as things stand.
"I don’t know what kind of plans they have for me - I want to stay."
No Neymar and no Cristiano Ronaldo seemingly after it was revealed that Chelsea had distanced themselves from the Man United legend. The reality is that if no new attacker was to be signed alongside Raheem Sterling this summer, the chances of the disgruntled Timo Werner staying remain high.
