Brazil superstar Neymar will reportedly miss his side's final two World Cup group stage games in a bid to have him firing for the last 16.
Spanish outlet Diario Sport claim Le Selecao boss Tite is willing to wrap his star man up in cotton wool for the remainder of the Qatar showpiece's first round. There was serious fears Neymar had suffered a tournament-ending ankle injury during his side's 2-0 win over Serbia. But the man himself allayed fears by asking fans to have faith as he saluted the win.
The Paris Saint-Germain playmaker was pictured wincing on the bench and his ankle appeared swollen as he headed for the tunnel after the victory which puts Brazil in control of their own destiny as they eye their first World Cup triumph in 20 years. Neymar carries the hope of his nations, however, Richarlison's goal exploits and the skills of Vinicius and Raphinha will likely mitigate their main man's absence against the Switzerland and Cameroon.
