Rafael Benitez is now 5/1 to become the next Leeds United manager after seeing his odds tumble, but there is a new man leading the way with Javi Gracia the new favourite for the job.
The ex-Watford boss has seen his odds reduced to put him ahead of caretaker boss Michael Skubala, who has been the bookies' favourite to take the role. Benitez has seen his odds slashed from 20/1 to 5/1 on Sky Bet, with the former Liverpool, Newcastle and Everton manager rapidly climbing up the list of potential candidates.
The Spaniard, who famously led Liverpool to UEFA Champions League glory in 2005, has been out of work since he was sacked by Everton in January 2022.
Appearing on Sky Sports on Sunday, Benitez revealed that he is open to a return to management and added that the Premier League is his preferred destination.

Skubala was expected to stay in charge this week at the very least, however the loss to Everton may have promoted a change in approach by the Leeds board. Gracia, who previously managed Watford, is out of work.
Leeds are yet to appoint a replacement for Jesse Marsch, who was relieved of his duties two weeks ago following a 1-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest. The Whites have been rebuffed by Carlos Corberan, Andoni Iraola, Arne Slot, and Philippe Clement as uncertainty over their managerial situation continues to grow.
Skubala has overseen the last three games as caretaker boss, but was unable to prevent Leeds plummeting into the bottom three following their 1-0 defeat at relegation rivals Everton.
