Yarmouth course and distance winner TARHIB is fancied to take the Bob Hunt's Race Day Fillies' Handicap (4.30).
The William Haggas-trained runner has only raced six times in three years so has few miles on the clock.
The daughter of Dark Angel struck twice as a three-year-old, the last of which she went off the 1-40 favourite at the Norfolk track and won in a canter. She rather lost her way after that, finishing down the field in a Class 2 handicap at Newmarket on her seasonal reappearance in April.
After a wind operation in May she returned to action on the all-weather at Chelmsford where she chased home Princess Shabnam by a length and a quarter. The winner has since gone on to win a Listed event at Pontefract.
Now the firm ground of the summer has been replaced with some give underfoot, Tarhib is ready to see the winners’ enclosure once again.
Progressive PRAIRIE FALCON is expected to fly for in-form trainer Michael Dods in the Market Cross Jewellers Nursery Handicap (2.53) over seven furlongs at Redcar. A winner at Goodwood in a better class race in July, he was a respectable third in a Newcastle nursery at the end of last month and is sure to go well off the same mark.
