Newsboy's horse racing tips for Tuesday's cards at Southwell and Dundalk, including Nap

Mark Loughnane’s admirable mare KIM WEXLER (7.00) can defy a 5lb penalty at Southwell in the BetUK Over 40,000 Live Streamed Races Handicap over five furlongs.

The five-year-old has been on a fine run of form in recent weeks, culminating in her best performance to date over course and distance eight days ago, making all to win by a length and a half in an eight-runner handicap.

With flying 16-year-old apprentice Billy Loughnane in the saddle, there is every reason to believe that she will put in another battling performance in what is a competitive event.

An hour later THIRD BATCH (8.00) is taken to break her maiden tag at the fourth attempt in the Spreadex Sports 300 Spread Betting Cashback Restricted Maiden Stakes over a mile.

Sean Woods’ three-year-old has shown plenty of promise, improving steadily with each run, and appeared to enjoy the step up in trip 17 days ago, when finishing half a length second of ten in a novice event at Lingfield.

She didn’t get the best of runs that day, but ran on well late on and daughter of Expert Eye looks ready to score in what looks an open contest.
