New practice uniforms

The Cardinals announced and revealed redesigned game day jerseys in the offseason. However, their practice jerseys were still designed based on the old ones.

That changed on Friday. They wore their new practice jerseys for the first time. The defense wore white and the offense wore red.

Three safeties on the field

On Thursday, a reporter noted that Marco Wilson, Christian Matthew and rookie Kei’Trel Clark were the top three corners.

On Friday, we saw how Jalen Thompson was used in the slot with Isaiah Simmons back deep and Budda Baker playing in the box.

Non-throwing day for Colt McCoy

McCoy ran the first-team offense but did not throw the ball.

The practice pace was slower than Thursday’s.

INT for rookie

Something you love and hate to see — rookie quarterback Clayton Tune threw an interception, which is never good. But it was rookie cornerback Kei’Trel Clark who picked it off, which is a positive.

LB Myjai Sanders under evaluation

Sanders banged his hand on Thursday. The Cardinals are figuring out where to go from there. Jonathan Gannon did not say how serious his hand was injured.
