One of Newport's main intersections is partially closing for three weeks to carry out emergency repair work.
Lane closures have been put into place on Newport Bridge and the Old Green Roundabout from Monday, March 7, for three weeks in order to carry out repairs to Western Power apparatus.
The two middle lanes of Newport Bridge - the right-hand lanes of both directions - on the Old Green Roundabout side of the bridge will be closed. The closure will run from the roundabout to just after the point where the westbound bus lane ends to allow traffic heading towards the roundabout to filter into the open lane.

At the Old Green roundabout, the right-hand lane of the Queensway approach and the B4591 approach to the roundabout will also be closed during this period.
The lane closures will be in effect continuously throughout the three-week period and Newport City Council is asking residents to plan their journeys as local traffic congestion is possible.
A statement said the council "apologises in advance for any inconvenience caused" and thanked residents "for their patience and understanding during this period".
Earlier this year plans were unveiled to replace the Old Green roundabout - one of the city's busiest intersections - with a traffic light-controlled junction.
Transport for Wales (TfW) is undertaking a feasibility study on improvements to the roundabout but the plans are at an early stage. You can read more about that here.
