Students who are struggling at Newcastle University have been told they have access help and support.
Many students have faced tough times recently with rising costs across the board hitting those with the least financial support.
Some students have spoken about how the rising pressures of juggling their important studies with the need to work has left many reconsidering their options, with some even dropping out of their course to find full-time work. The BBC recently shared the story of student nurses who could no longer afford to maintain their studies alongside work placements and part-time work.
For Newcastle University students, at least, there is support available out there. The university and students’ union have a number of initiatives and schemes in place to help those who are experiencing difficulties.
