Eddie Howe opted to name an unchanged line-up for Newcastle United's home clash with Crystal Palace at St James' Park. It meant the wait goes on for players like skipper Jamaal Lascelles and Joe Willock in terms of a start, but the head coach really didn't have much choice but to reward the side that beat Leicester City 2-1 on Sunday.
And Newcastle's midfield is picking itself at the moment with Joelinton, Jonjo Shelvey and Bruno Guimaraes running the show for Howe.
Howe made one change on the bench with Javier Manquillo returning in place of Paul Dummett. Almiron stays in the side with Ryan Fraser out with a hamstring problem. Swedish defensive star Emil Krafth also continues to be an automatic pick.
