Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe named an unchanged side for today's Premier League clash with Brighton and Hove Albion at St James' Park. But there was a place on the bench for talisman Allan Saint-Maximin as the French continues his recovery from injury.
Saint-Maximin had missed United's draw at West Ham and win over Brentford, but as he had only trained on Friday, Howe has decided not to risk him from the start. He takes his place on the bench alongside £40m Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, who is still waiting for his first start for the club.
Jacob Murphy keeps his place in the starting XI, with Emil Krafth also holding off competition from Javier Manquillo at right-back. Captain Jamaal Lascelles is again on the bench, with Jonjo Shelvey wearning the armband.
