Here are the latest Newcastle United transfer rumours on Friday, June 10.
Newcastle 'on trail' of Swiss international
According to Talksport Newcastle United are looking at Switzerland's goalkeeper Yann Sommer. The 33-year-old currently plays for Borussia Mönchengladbach, who finished 10th in the Bundesliga last season.
Talksport wrote: "Newcastle are on the trail of Switzerland goalkeeper Yann Sommer after cooling their interest in Dean Henderson, talkSPORT's Alex Crook has revealed."
There seemed to be a mix up of clubs in the report, which somewhat dampens its credibility. Whether Sommer would be much of a step up from Martin Dubravka is also debatable.

Napoli striker linked to the Toon
Another veteran who has been linked to Newcastle is 35-year-old Napoli and Belgium striker Dries Mertens. His deal with his current club is reportedly about to come to an end.
The rumour appeared in Belgian outlet Voetbal Flitsen, with a Google translation revealing: "Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Leeds United see something in the arrival of the Belgian. Of the three clubs, Newcastle are said to have the best credentials as they can offer a higher salary since their recent takeover."
Mertens is Napoli's all-time top goalscorer with 148 goals. Despite his age he managed 13 goals in 37 games last season.
