Here are your morning transfer rumours for Newcastle United on Tuesday, February 8.
Lille boss says Botman deserves Champions League team
Lille president Olivier Letang, who thwarted Newcastle's efforts to sign 22-year-old Sven Botman last month, has again had to address the defender's future.
Speaking to Le Parisien, Letang said: “Sven already had opportunities to leave last summer.

"I told him that he wouldn’t leave and that we would discuss it again at the end of the season. He’s a great person and a top player who deserves to play in a club that can win the Champions League.
“If there’s something which allows everyone to be satisfied next summer, we will discuss it. It’s important to stick to your commitments.”
An Italian website, via Sport Witness, has also said "the auction has officially started" to sign Botman, with Newcastle United and Milan still keen, while Tottenham Hotspur are now also interested.
Newcastle mentioned in relation to £68m striker
Newcastle's name has been thrown around by a lot of interested parties over the past month as agents and others try to get some leverage for players in contract negotiations or transfers.
Whether that is why Newcastle United are being mentioned in relation to Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is impossible to know, but a link has been made.
The 23-year-old Nigeria international is a proven goalscorer and according to Sport Witness he is negotiating for a new deal with his current club, but a member of his entourage has said that there is Premier League interest, with Newcastle United having been previously linked to the player.
Sport Witness speculated that Napoli would want more than the £68m they paid Lille to buy him if they were to give in to interest from the Premier League - the high price is no doubt partly why Newcastle have been linked.
German newspaper dismisses 'nouveau riche' Newcastle bid
Another January rumour revisited, this time addressing one of the more outlandish bits of transfer speculation in a very crowded field.
Towards the end of the January transfer window it was claimed that Newcastle were interested in doyen of German football Thomas Muller.
However, as reported by Sport Witness, Bild editor Walter M Straten has dismissed the chances of Newcastle luring the Bayern Munich star.
According to Sport Witness, Straten wrote in his newspaper: "The nouveau riche Saudi club Newcastle has already asked about Muller. But I am sure: he will never go to Newcastle."
