Here are your Newcastle United transfer rumours for Saturday, 30 July.

Race for RB Salzburg forward Benjamin Sesko heats up

Newcastle United face stiff competition from two Premier League sides in the race for RB Salzburg striker Benjamin Sesko. The Manchester Evening News report Manchester United football director John Murtough met Sesko's agent Elvis Basanovic last Wednesday to gauge whether the Slovenian forward would be open to moving to Old Trafford.

Alongside Manchester United's interest, Wolves have also been credited with monitoring Sesko too. Newcastle are interested in the teenager who has been compared to Erling Haaland.

Elsewhere, Sesko is also said to be attracting interest from German giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund too.

Newcastle United turn to Burnley winger Maxwel Cornet

Newcastle United are reportedly keen on signing Burnley winger Maxwel Cornet.

Despite being relegated with the Clarets last season, the Ivorian impressed during his debut Premier League campaign. He is available this summer and has a release fee clause of £17.5m in his Burnley contract.

TalkSPORT claim Newcastle boss Eddie Howe is increasingly interested in signing Cornet to help bolster the Magpies attack for next season. Given the numbers Newcastle have been quoted this summer for attacking talent, Cornet could prove to be a solid cut-price option.

Spanish outlet drops huge Nabil Fekir claim

Spanish outlet Fichajes claim Newcastle United are ready put in a monstrous €45m offer in for Real Betis attacking midfielder Nabil Fekir.

Fekir was one of Betis' standout performers last term, helping them to Copa del Rey glory.

The 29-year-old has reportedly been made available this summer as Betis look to balance their books. He currently has four-years left on his deal but it looks as though the La Liga side are ready to cash in on the talented Frenchman.
