Newcastle United offered Joao Felix

Newcastle United have been offered the chance to sign Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix, after Chelsea opted against signing the Portuguese international on a permanent basis.

That is according to Mail Online, who claim he has also been offered to French champions PSG with the 23-year-old out of favour in the Spanish capital.

Felix could even be available on another loan deal and played alongside Newcastle skipper Kieran Trippier at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium. He scored four goals in 16 Premier League appearances for the struggling Blues and is keen to play Champions League football next term.

Leicester braced for Harvey Barnes bids amid Newcastle interest

Leicester City are braced for bids for winger Harvey Barnes following their relegation from the Premier League.

That is according to Football Insider, with Newcastle United said to be among the clubs monitoring the England international's situation this summer.

Barnes, 25, has also been linked with moves to West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Newcastle 'very close' to signing Gabri Veiga

That is according to Spanish publication Marca, who claim the Celta Vigo midfielder has a release clause of €30million.

The 21-year-old playmaker has also been linked with Real Madrid and Barcelona but the report claims Newcastle are the frontrunners to sign him.

The Spain under-21 international has scored nine goals and registered four assists in La Liga this term.
