Here are your Newcastle United transfer rumours for Saturday, February 18.
Newcastle lead Premier League rivals in Marcus Thuram race
Newcastle now lead Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram.
That is according to Italian outlet Calciomercato, who claim Newcastle are leading the Premier League clubs, but still face stern competition from Inter Milan.

Thuram will be a free agent at the end of the season as he reportedly has no interest in extending his spell with the Bundesliga club. The French international has scored 13 goals and provided four assists in 21 games across all competitions this term.
He also starred at the 2022 World Cup, including in the final, as France lost on penalties after an enthralling 3-3 draw against Argentina in Doha.
Newcastle linked with Adrien Rabiot
Calciomercato have also reported that Newcastle United have 'tested the waters' over the prospect of signing Adrien Rabiot from Juventus.
Rabiot is out of contract in the summer and there is uncertainty over whether he will extend his current deal with the Serie A giants.
The report adds that Rabiot looks destined to move to the Premier League, with Arsenal also mentioned as potential candidates for his signature along with Newcastle.
The Frenchman has been a key player for Juve this term - racking up six goals in 25 games across all competitions this term.
He also starred regularly for France at the World Cup alongside Thuram, as they finished runners-up in Qatar. Rabiot has won 28 major honours during his career for Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus respectively, including five Ligue 1 titles and one Serie A title.
PIF enter race for Ecuadorian teenager
Newcastle's owners have reportedly been in contact with the representatives of Ecuadorian teenage sensation Kendry Paez, according to 90 Min.
The Magpies are believed to be among a host of clubs that are keen on securing his signature. 11 Premier League teams in total are credited with an interest, alongside European heavyweights such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund among others.
Idependiente are reluctant to sell the 15-year-old midfielder this year, with Paez unable to move to a European club until he turns 18.
Paez is deemed the most exciting young talent in Ecuador and has already scored three goals in seven caps for Ecuador's under-17s.
