Nice's 22-year-old Jean-Clair Todibo is said to be a target for the Magpies, according to footmercato.
However, they also claim that Manchester United have an interest in the player. Additionally, Napoli and Sevilla are reported to have asked about the former Barcelona man.
Newcastle discover terms to bring Armando Broja to St James' Park
With both of Newcastle's strikers over 30-years-old, it is said that the Magpies want to bring in a younger striker this summer. Chelsea's Armando Broja is a player interesting Eddie Howe and Dan Ashworth, after impressing on a loan spell at Southampton last season.

Another central defensive target for Newcastle is AC Milan's Alessio Romagnoli, according to calciomercato. However, they claim that the Italian international has turned down the approach from Newcastle and will instead move to Lazio as he would prefer to remain in Serie A.
