Newcastle United transfer rumours as Gustav Isaksen and Inter's Lautaro Martinez linked

A look at the latest Newcastle United transfer rumours on Saturday, 29 October.

Newcastle monitoring '£17m Europa League star'

Calciomercato claims Newcastle United are among some of the sides monitoring Danish starlet, Gustav Isaksen. The report claims Eddie Howe's side, along with Arsenal and West Ham, are keeping tabs on Scandinavian playmaker.

AC Milan are also rumoured to be watching the FC Midtjylland winger who has scored three goals in five Europa League games so far this season. Also capable of playing in the ten and on either flank, Isaksen has four goals in 14 league appearances.

A price tag of £17million has been muted for the 21-year-old who is also on the radar of the Danish national team. The forward has been a regular in the youth set-up for his nation and looks set for the next step in his career.

Newcastle linked with Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez

Inter Live claim Newcastle United could join Tottenham Hotspur in the pursuit of Argentinian striker Lautaro Martinez, with Manchester United also linked. The report states a bid will be accepted in the region of "€90m", adding that it's a "figure completely within the reach of the very rich Premier League."

Antonio Conte's side reportedly made a bid for Martinez in previous windows, but Inter had just lost Romelu Lukaku in the same window and were keen to keep him at the San Siro. The forward has also been linked with Barcelona in recent transfer windows.

It remains to be seen whether Newcastle would part with that much money for a player, especially since new arrival Alexander Isak has played just three times since moving to Tyneside for a fee in the region of £60million.
