Here are the latest Newcastle United transfer rumours on Monday, March 28.
Everton ready to cash in on Toon-linked England international
One of the players who has been linked with a big-money move to Newcastle since the completion of the takeover is Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin. The signing of Chris Wood in January showed Eddie Howe’s intentions to bring another striker to the club and he might look to revisit the situation again in the summer.
Previously, the Toffees have demanded £80m for their number nine as other teams, such as Arsenal, have also been linked with him. The Sun are now reporting that Everton are eager to sell the England international in the knowledge that he is probably their highest value asset.
In the report, they state that Arsenal and West Ham are the teams monitoring the situation but Newcastle could also be in the hunt for Calvert-Lewin.

Newcastle on red alert for Real Madrid clear out
With Real Madrid in something of a transitional period given the young players they have got coming through and the older players coming towards the ends of the careers, there could be plenty of change at the Bernabeu in the summer. Players like Eden Hazard, Isco, Luka Jovic and Gareth Bale could be among those who leave the Spanish capital, according to talkSPORT.
They would all provide potentially useful options for Newcastle for very different reasons and, knowing that Real Madrid don’t want them, they could be available for cut prices (Bale is out of contract in the summer). Obviously, money is not an issue for United going forward but the new ownership group will be keen to not be forced into paying over the odds.
Supporters might turn their noses up at signing players that many may consider to be cast offs and that is understandable but players such as those still possess plenty of quality.
Lazio join race for Newcastle-linked forward
The form of Charles De Ketelaere in the Belgian Pro League has led to plenty of Europe’s strongest sides being linked with a move for him. The 21-year-old, who plays either as a striker or in the number 10 role, has scored 13 league goals and added seven assists in 31 games for Club Brugge this season.
Unsurprisingly, Newcastle were one of the teams linked with a move as well as a handful of other Premier League clubs including Leicester and Tottenham. The most recent update, provided by Gazzetta dello Sport, claims that Lazio are looking to pursue a move for the four-time Belgium international.
The Italian side, like many others, are said to be planning a rebuild in the summer and De Ketelaere is understood to be very high on their wishlist, possibly to replace Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
