Gonçalo Ramos gives answer on Newcastle United question when quizzed on future
Newcastle United target Gonçalo Ramos has been quizzed over his future following a link with Newcastle United. The 21-year-old Portugal star netted in Benfica's victory over Casa Pia at the weekend and was then asked about his next move with Newcastle credited with a bid for his services last week.
United maintained their silence when the reports were put to them but the club are working on more than one deal. Ramos said: "I'm at Benfica, I'm fine, we're playing well. What matters to me is the Benfica".

Conor Gallagher 'number one' target for Newcastle United
The Sun claims Newcastle United will now step up their efforts to sign Chelsea youngster Conor Gallagher despite Thomas Tuchel being a huge fan. The Blues boss has admitted that every players has a price with the Chelsea midfielder valued in the region of £40million.
Tuchel said: “In general, nobody is for sale, and everybody is for sale. It depends on what the player wants, how bad the player wants it, what we think, who is ready to pay a certain amount of money. Then maybe everybody is for sale.”
He added: “Conor fights in central midfield. To be very honest, it’s a tough fight for him because at the moment, as it seems, we only have two places in central midfield, which is a bit unfair given the number of players we have for central midfield."
The appearance of Newcastle directors Amanda Staveley and Mehrdad Ghodoussi at Stamford Bridge yesterday afternoon has only served to fan these rumours.

The Magpies are hoping to bring in at least one more attacking option before the window closes next month.
