Here are the latest Newcastle United transfer rumours on Monday, July 25.
Newcastle United linked with Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes
Newcastle United are said to be keen on signing Leicester City winger Harvey Barnes this summer.
The Sun claim Barnes is a player of significant interest to the Magpies who are looking to strengthen their attacking options out wide.
So far, their attempts to recruit a wide attacker have been scuppered by inflated price tags.

And while there is interest from Newcastle in Barnes, those inflated price tags could hinder any attempt to sign the 24-year-old.
The Foxes value Barnes at £50m, double what Newcastle value the winger at. With the new season drawing nearer, that price point is unlikely to change. Newcastle would have to up any prospective bid for Barnes to closer reflect Leicester valuation of the England international.
Ex-NUFC midfielder Darren Ambrose tells Magpies to make statement Alexander Isak signing
Former Newcastle United midfielder Darren Ambrose reckons Newcastle United need to make Real Sociedad forward Alexander Isak their statement signing of the summer.
Isak is a striker Newcastle rate highly. The 6ft 4in Swedish international is held in high regard at St James' Park, despite a disappointing season last term for La Real. In recent weeks, reports emerged linking the Swede with a move to Tyneside. However it is believed Real Sociedad will only let Isak go if a club meets his £75m release fee clause.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Ambrose said: "He (Isak) didn't have a fantastic season in terms of goals last season but the year before (he was) brilliant for Real Sociedad.
"It’s a lot of money but we've spoken about this before. Newcastle need to make that statement signing. They've not done much so far this summer. They’ve built their foundations - (now) make a statement signing. I think he could be one of them."
Arsenal technical director Edu outlines Lucas Paqueta stance
Arsenal techincal director Edu has revealed there "isn't any kind of talk" coming from North London for Lyon midfielder Lucas Paqueta.
Paqueta is a player who has been persistently linked with Newcastle since January, and is best friends with Magpies midfielder maestro Bruno Guimaraes.
Arsenal were also said to be keen on the Brazilian international, but a recent interview from Edu seems to suggest the Gunners interest in Paqueta may have cooled.
"I’m very respectful when I talk about Lucas [Paqueta]," Edu told Brazilian outlet TNT Sports.
"I’m a guy who likes him a lot. I've always liked him, since my time with Brazil’s national team.
"He’s had a great season; he was considered the best (foreign) player in the French league. But today, there really isn’t any kind of talk, there’s only my admiration for the player, because the squad today is, in the position he plays, very well-served in this regard."
