The bookmakers have slashed the odds for Jack Harrison to join Newcastle United after the Magpies reportedly tabled an offer for the Leeds wide man. Eddie Howe's side are keen to add quality to their squad further up the field with the Whites winger on the club's list of targets,
According to Football Insider, Newcastle have now made a formal approach, submitting an £18million offer for the Whites winger, despite other reports claiming a £20million bid had been knocked back earlier this week.
The report claims Leeds are yet to make a decision on Harrison's future as Newcastle plot further additions to their squad. The England youth international is reportedly seen as a cheaper alternative to Moussa Diaby who has pledged his future to Bayer Leverkusen for the upcoming campaign.
