Newcastle United supporters have poked fun at Jurgen Klopp following the win over Tottenham Hotspur. The result sees the Magpies move into the top four in the Premier League for the first time in almost a decade.
In contrast, Liverpool were beaten by rock bottom Nottingham Forest, just days after Klopp's comments aimed at Newcastle's new found riches. Eddie Howe was quick to rebuke those claims, and the Magpies head coach was delighted at full time as his side ended Antonio Conte's unbeaten home record this season.
Goals from Callum Wilson and Miguel Almiron gave Newcastle a 2-0 cushion with Harry Kane halving the deficit in the second-half. The Magpies hung on for an invaluable three points on the road.
