For the second game in a row Newcastle United supporters have been left frustrated by a VAR decision. In midweek, Alexander Isak was denied a second goal that would have put the Magpies 2-0 up Anfield and in cruise control.
Fast forward to today, the Toon saw a Tyrick Mitchell own goal ruled out for a foul on Crystal Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guita. However, on closer inspection, the Magpies midfielder was pushed into the Eagles shot stopper by Mitchell.
Michael Salisbury was told to go to the VAR monitor and after originally awarding the goal, changed his decision. The result now means Newcastle have not won since the opening day of the season.

Here's what Newcastle United fans had to say after the final whistle:
@Themasterbucks said: "Newcastle this season so far: Had a penalty denied against Wolves. Conceded a goal in the 98th minute of 5 extra minutes. And now a goal disallowed because Willock was pushed into a goalkeeper by an opposition player. 5 stolen points. Newcastle would be 4th right now."
@JesscaKatie tweeted: "Refs need to be held accountable for their incorrect decisions. If I repeatedly did something wrong at work I'd be reprimanded. Why are they allowed to do whatever they want with no repercussions."
@milessteven001 said: "Not the win we all wanted, obviously, but this could still be a valuable point. Put our missing players back in the team and we’d probably have won quite comfortably. Lots of positives today, however: Anderson looks lively, Isak oozes class and Pope is solid. Try again next week."
@RyanSmithAU said: "Cant fault the effort, but lack of quality of bench players highlighted with current injuries. Isak should have put us 1 up, and VAR.. well what can we say?"
@LucasGert_ tweeted: "Wasted far too many chances today which is proper frustrating, but at the end of the day it's yet another VAR failure. Getting silly now."
@mtay0705 said: "Feel extremely hard done by with the officiating today. More than plenty of chances created with no end product."
