Newcastle United supporters were left furious after VAR denied the Magpies a second-half opener against Crystal Palace. Joe Willock was adjudged to have fouled Vicente Guaita in the build-up to the goal.
Sven Botman's header at the back post was turned back across goal, with Willock seemingly pushed in the back colliding with Guaita, and Tyrick Mitchell turning the ball into his own net. Newcastle supporters were quick to point out the push on Willock, but VAR ruled the goal out.
The decision incensed black and white supporters, after they were punished by VAR at Anfield in midweek.
