Newcastle United supporters have reacted to the 'amazing' news Kieran Trippier has extended his stay on Tyneside. The Magpies right-back was the first signing of the new era and has wasted no time in becoming a fan favourite.
The England international is one of the first names on the team sheet for Eddie Howe's and his staff. The 32-year-old has helped the Magpies record 16 clean sheets across all competitions during the 2022/23 campaign, including 12 in the Premier League, and has also registered six assists so far this term.
Trippier is considered one of the best signings in the recent history of Newcastle, if not the Premier League era. The defender has signed a new deal to take his contract through to the summer of 2025.
