Newcastle United have submitted a new offer for Jesse Lingard as they look to complete their third signing of the January window.
Chronicle Live understands that the Magpies are willing to pay a £4million loan fee to take the England international until the end of the season.
And they are prepared to offer Manchester United an additional sum if Newcastle manage to beat the drop.

A loan deal would protect Lingard if Eddie Howe's side did go down as he would be able to walk away at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old has been offered a new contract at Man United but turned down the deal.
Lingard has been unable to join any of the clubs that are considered a threat to Man United's top four place.
The winger is currently in the United Arab Emirates with Man United in warm weather training but Newcastle's Middle East based hierarchy are ready to fly him around to get the deal done.
Red Devils boss Ralf Rangnick said last week: "He’s a really good player, I see that in every training session.
"For me it's normal that other clubs like, for example, Newcastle show interest in him."
