Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award for March following his superb form for the Magpies.
Isak sent Newcastle into the current international break on a high with his brace against Nottingham Forest to seal a 2-1 win at the City Ground. The Swede levelled the scores just before half-time with a sublime volley as he demonstrated his instinctive finishing skills in some style. That goal has also seen him nominated for the Premier League's Goal of the Month award as well, which you can vote for here.
And Isak would then wrap up all three points with a last-minute penalty in stoppage-time as he kept his cool to spark pandemonium among the travelling Toon Army.

The 23-year-old also scored the opener in Newcastle's previous game, a 2-1 win over Wolves, with a well-taken header. His record in March has seen him find the back of the net on three occasions in two starts for Eddie Howe's side in what has been a thoroughly impressive patch of form for the former Real Sociedad man.
Isak finds himself in fine company for the award alongside Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, Aston Villa's Tyrone Mings, Brighton's Alexis Mac Allister and Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard.
As Premier League football will not resume until the beginning of April, voting is now underway until 12pm (GMT) on Monday, 27 March. The votes of the public will be combined with a panel of 'football experts' to pick the winning player.
