David Seaman has always backed Liverpool to finish in the top four, and insists that their 'quality was too good' not to be challenging for Champions League qualification.
Liverpool are unbeaten in their last five in the Premier League, and have collected four wins in the process. The Reds stormed to a record 7-0 victory over their bitter rivals Manchester United at Anfield last weekend to leapfrog Newcastle United into fifth.
Jurgen Klopp's men are just three points adrift of the top four, and lead Newcastle United by one-point, albeit having played a game more than the Magpies.

Former Arsenal and England goalkeeper Seaman has always believed Liverpool would qualify for the Champions League, and is now confident that their quality will shine through.
"When you look at the quality of their squad, they were always going to get better," Seaman revealed on his podcast Seaman Says. "As bad as it was, it wasn't that bad. They had injuries, they had Van Dijk out for quite a long time, who was a massive player for them.
"When him and Alisson came it just showed you what they were missing, and when either of those are out, they really miss them. It was only going to be a matter of time until they started clicking again because their quality is just too good.
"Having said that, they [Newcastle] had chances in the game against City. They had a couple of really good chances to make a difference to the score line early on. So that was frustrating when I was watching it. Then City went into second gear and cruised to the win."
