Newcastle United's Joelinton a dad for third time as partner Thays Gondim gives birth

Joelinton's already amazing 10 days came to an emotional end on Sunday, when partner Thays Gondim gave birth to their third child.

Earlier this year, Newcastle United's Brazilian star and his other half, who already have a son and daughter together, took over the pitch at the club's stadium, St James' Park, for an elaborate gender reveal, being joined by friends including Big Joe's club and country teammate Bruno Guimaraes and his now wife Ana Martins. Joelinton and Thays found out they were expecting another boy and on Sunday, Thays uploaded a photo to her Instagram story of Joelinton, wearing blue hospital scrubs, cradling the little one.

Supporters have been quick to send their wishes to the popular player and his family, with one fans account on Twitter posting: "A huge congratulations to Joelinton and the family on their new arrival!" Referencing Bruno's young son Mateo, another replied: "Joelinton Jr and Bruno Jr growing up in the academy and being a midfield force like their dads."

Thays celebrated her 25th birthday a week earlier in Brazil having been in the crowd with the couple's two older children, to see Joelinton score his first ever goal for Brazil on his international debut against Guinea. Sharing a photo of Joe running over to see his son in the stands, Thays wrote: "May it be recorded here one of the most special days of our lives."

As well as having her gender reveal at St James' Park, Thays has once again been a regular at the ground all season, with her and other relatives at almost every game to see Joeinton in action, as well as making the trip to Wembley to see Newcastle lose out in the Carabao Cup final to Manchester United.
