Newcastle United's Christmas fixtures moved for TV as Premier League changes finally announced

Newcastle United have had two festive fixtures selected for live television coverage. The Boxing Day clash at Leicester City and the away trip to Arsenal in the New Year have been picked by Amazon Prime and Sky Sports respectively.

Eddie Howe's side return to Premier League action following the World Cup break with the visit to the King Power Stadium. Monday's announcement does not affect the date or time of the fixture, meaning the Magpies will be shown live on the streaming service with a 3pm kick-off.

Newcastle's first match of 2023 is a testing encounter at current Premier League leaders Arsenal, and this has now been given a new date and kick-off time after being selected by Sky Sports. Previously scheduled for January 2 and a 3pm kick-off, Howe's side will now be in action at the Emirates Stadium on January 3pm with an 8pm kick-off.
