Former Manchester City and England boss Sven-Goran Eriksson believes Alexander Isak will be the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The striker became Newcastle United's record signing back in the summer and made an impressive start to life on Tyneside.
The Swedish striker scored two goals in three appearances before picking up a hamstring injury on international duty with his country. It came as a major setback to the Magpies, who were nursing Callum Wilson back to fitness at the time.
However, after a lengthy spell on the sidelines, Isak returned to full training ahead of Newcastle's FA Cup clash with Sheffield Wednesday. It's unclear whether the 23-year-old will be involved in the tie with Eddie Howe keeping his cards close to his chest.

Isak's return to fitness will be like a new signing for the Magpies heading into January. The Swedish striker has received plenty of plaudits throughout his career, with further comparisons made to Ibrahimovic, who is approaching the final chapter in his career.
The Newcastle striker is being tipped to replace Ibra as Sweden's talisman. Eriksson told OLBG : "Alexander Isak has been injured, I hope he's ready to play again soon. Newcastle United today is a big club and they are doing extremely well.
"It will be interesting to see how my fellow countryman performs for them. Isak is Sweden's most interesting and promising player we have in the national team.
"Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the last big player we had and Isak could be next."
