Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes' ankle roll looks horrific when slowed down with the scene of the Brazilian on crutches and wearing a protective boot not good after the 1-0 win over Fulham.
However, the midfielder was in slightly better spirits as he left St James' Park on Sunday night compared to just before half-time as he left the pitch in tears. Bruno celebrated with his team-mates in the dressing room and given he has never suffered this type of injury before, there is hope it won't be as long an absence as many feared.
The protective boot was a precaution and the player himself posted on Instagram that he hopes to be back soon. His injury, however, does bring up a cause for concern in the midfield area.
With Jonjo Shelvey already out for another month and now Elliot Anderson nursing a calf strain, it was little wonder that Joe Willock was taken off a little earlier than expected. The big question is whether Newcastle dip into the transfer market in that area.
One more injury in the engine room and you feel Newcastle don't have much choice but to recruit where they need while they can do it.

The fifth clean sheet in a row meant that history was written on Tyneside. No side or no keeper had ever managed to bag five clean sheets in a row at top-flight level.
And while Pope had less to do than normal, he was still instrumental with his quick distribution from the back and his fantastic organisation. The Ipswich lad and Newcastle have the chance to stretch that to half a dozen clean sheets next weekend.
Joelinton selection wasn't straight-forward for Howe
The Brazilian was pulled over by the police in the early hours of Thursday morning but put in a solid shift just three days later in the Premier League. Howe not only assessed his mood and attitude after his drink driving charge, but also spoke with players and staff to gain their views on what was a group decision in the end.
At his Press conference, Howe said: "I had a long meeting with my coaching staff yesterday afternoon after training, where we debated the whole scenario. "Ultimately I have to make the decision and I did."
