Newcastle United loanees Jeff Hendrick and Matty Longstaff both featured in yesterday's EFL fixtures for their respective loan clubs with good performances helping their side find points.
Hendrick, who struggled at Queen's Park Rangers last season, has had a good start with his new club and Longstaff, after being sent on loan to Mansfield Town where he flourished last season, will be looking to find similar form at his new club.
Other Magpie loanees Isaac Hayden and Ciaran Clark missed out through injury and Kelland Watts' loan move to Peterborough United was announced earlier this week.
Jeff Hendrick
After Reading's good start to the season, they produced another solid result on Saturday afternoon by beating Stoke City 2-1 and Hendrick performed well. He was everywhere on the pitch, managed to be in the right places at all the right times and pressed the Potters' players excellently.
Isaac Hayden
Isaac Hayden has been recovering from a knee injury since January and has yet to make an appearance for Norwich City after he fell down the pecking order under Eddie Howe's reign. However, the 27-year-old could be on his way back following a positive update from manager Dean Smit earlier this week which could see him feature later on in the month.
Ciaran Clark
Much like Hayden, centre-back Ciaran Clark has also been injured during his loan spell with Sheffield United. The 32-year-old started the Blades' first two games of the season - a 1-0 loss to Watford and a 2-0 win over Millwall - but hasn't featured since after suffering an injury.
Matty Longstaff
Matty Longstaff played all 90 minutes as Colchester United found a 94th-minute equaliser against Hartlepool United to rescue a 1-1 draw on Saturday. He started on the right-hand side before moving into a more central role after substitutions before being booked after 71 minutes.
Kell Watts
Kell Watts was announced to be heading to Peterborough United on loan last week but is still waiting to make his Posh debut.
