Eddie Howe could be missing six key players from his squad as Newcastle United make the midweek trip to Anfield. Allan Saint-Maximin is the latest influential player to be struck down with an injury, joining Callum Wilson and Bruno Guimaraes on the side-lines.
The Frenchman is set to be assessed at the 11th hour ahead of the trip to Liverpool, with the Magpies hoping to continue their unbeaten start to the campaign. Alexander Isak could make his debut for Newcastle tomorrow, if his work permit is approved.
Howe's side are currently sat in seventh place, one point above Jurgen Klopp's Reds. It's set to be another test of Newcastle's credentials with Liverpool among the favourites to win the Premier League title.
