Eddie Howe has confirmed that he'll be without Callum Wilson and Emil Krafth ahead of Newcastle's trip to Wolves on Sunday. United came from behind to beat Tranmere Rovers in their last outing on Wednesday to progress to the next round of the Carabao Cup, where they'll host Crystal Palace in early November.
Newcastle are unbeaten in the Premier League so far this season after following their opening day win over Nottingham Forest with draws against Brighton and Manchester City respectively.
Howe is poised to add club record signing Alexander Isak to his side from Real Sociedad after a fee of £58million was agreed between both clubs. The Magpies boss is hopeful that he can register the Swedish striker in time for him to feature at Molineux.
Here are the six United players who have either been ruled out or are considered doubtful for the Wolves clash.

Callum Wilson
Howe doesn't expect Wilson's hamstring injury to be as bad as first feared. Wilson, whose Newcastle career has been hampered by injuries, was brought off against Man City on Sunday.
Howe commented on Wilson: "Naturally with Callum's injury, which we don't believe to be serious, we're hopeful that Callum will only be out for a couple of weeks. I back Callum 100%. I've known him for a long time. I've never met anyone with a better attitude to sport and a better professional.
"He's hugely disappointed to miss any game. I back him and his body. He's got such an important part of our future this season. I think he's already showed that with the goals that he's scored. The two goals that he's scored have been of the highest level, so I don't doubt Callum for one second."
Emil Krafth
Newcastle United right-back Emil Krafth has taken to Instagram to confirm that he will be sidelined for “several months with a knee injury” having been forced off of the pitch on Wednesday night in the Magpies’ 2-1 Carabao Cup win at Tranmere Rovers.
It had been the defender’s first start of the season, having been brought on in the latter stages of Newcastle’s 3-3 draw with Manchester City in the Premier League just three days prior.
“Hard to find words and still can’t believe it, this was not the way I wanted the season to start!," he posted. "Gonna be out for several months with a knee injury.
“Devastated I can’t be out there and help the team, but I will do my best to push the lads to reach success! One thing I know is that the sun will rise tomorrow again and I will work extremely hard to get back as soon as possible!
“Thanks for all the messages and love you all have giving me. See you soon back out there!”
Dan Burn
Burn was brought off in the latter stages against City after being struck in the face by Sven Botman's clearance. He was ruled out of Wednesday's win over Tranmere Rovers with concussion but Howe hopes that Burn will be available to return against Wolves on Sunday.
Ryan Fraser
Howe is hopeful that Fraser will be available for the trip to Wolves. The winger was a late withdrawal from the matchday squad on Sunday after sustaining a groin injury in the warm-up. Fraser hasn't started for the Magpies this season.
Jonjo Shelvey
The Newcastle playmaker is facing a race against time to return to action ahead of the mid-season break for the World Cup. Shelvey picked up a hamstring injury in the pre-season defeat against Benfica which required surgery.
Jamaal Lascelles
Lascelles is expected to be fine after receiving a nasty knock to the nose at Prenton Park. The Newcastle skipper scored the equaliser as Newcastle came from behind to win against Tranmere but was subbed off as a precaution in the 70th minute.
