Botman latest
Sven Botman's holiday is under way without the Dutch Under-21 international getting his wish when it comes to his future. The former Ajax youth player has opted to wait to see if AC Milan can come to a solution as far as making an acceptable offer to Lille is concerned.
So far Milan have had an on-off stance on Botman and the Serie A champions also refused to match Newcastle United's whopping £46million move for the 6ft 5in centre-back.

Magpies monitoring McNeill
Newcastle are said to be one of a whole host of Premier League clubs interested in Burnley forward Dwight McNeill this summer. According to reports via 90min, some six top-flight sides have enquired regarding the 22-year-old, with new manager Vincent Kompany tasked with keeping hold of the starlet.
The Rochdale born winger featured in every single one of the Clarets 38 Premier League games last season, with Burnley looking to bounce back following relegation on the final day of the 21/22 campaign.
Newcastle backed for Europe
Newcastle United have been tipped to make even more progress heading into the new season following the release of the 2022/23 Premier League fixtures.
The Magpies now know they will begin the season at home to newcomers Nottingham Forest on Saturday, August 6, before an away trip to Brighton follows the weekend after. Eddie Howe's side finished in 11th place during the last campaign and bookmakers have begun offering odds on a top-six finish for the Toon.
