Bruno baby joy
Bruno Guimaraes and his girlfriend Ana Lidia Martins welcomed their first child last night and the football world have sent them their congratulations.
The Brazilian has become a cult hero at St. James' Park since signing for the Magpies in January earlier this year, and has been one of manager Eddie Howe's top performers this season with two goals and two assists in his eight league appearances.

Posting two photos of his new family on Instagram, Guimaraes put the caption: "Welcome to the world son! It is with great joy that I announce the arrival of my first son, without a doubt today is the best day of my life!
"First of all I want to congratulate you my love, you are a warrior you were and you are, after everything you've been through in your life see you do all the strength, go over each contraction and the love you've already shown for our son no there's an explanation!"

Wilson vow
Callum Wilson has urged his teammates to test themselves against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend on Super Sunday. The Magpies have only lost to Liverpool this season but are due a big result against one of the top-flight's big boys, and Wilson is in the mood to inflict more pain on Spurs.
Wilson grabbed a stoppage-time penalty in this fixture two years ago but would love to score the winner this weekend providing the service is good.
The England World Cup hopeful said: "I feel really good now. I feel fit, I feel sharp. It's just the ball is going over my head when I'm going to the front [post], I'll go to the back and the ball goes to the front, it's just one of them that will fall, and when it does they'll keep flying in.
"It's more about the performance and I know that if I play well, the goals will come and that's the most important thing. I felt my overall performance, my hold up play in general was better than it has been over the last few weeks."

No envy towards Trips
Manchester City full-back Kyle Walker insists there is no bitterness amongst England's many right-backs when it comes to who will start for Gareth Southgate out in Qatar at the World Cup.
While Kieran Trippier should make the England squad jetting off to Qatar next month, Walker and Chelsea right-back Reece James are battling against time to be fit for the World Cup following recent surgeries.
Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold is going through a poor run of form lately too, which could mean Trippier starts for England at the World Cup.
"I always seem to keep a really good relationship with the guy that I’m competing with," Walker told BBC 5 Live's Football Daily podcast.
"I think it’s healthy. Competition is always healthy. But it’s not hate because it’s down to the manager first and foremost who he wants to play in the starting XI."

Juve star backed for Toon move
United States soccer hero Eric Wynalda has tipped compatriot Weston McKennie as a potential Toon target. The 24-year-old has emerged as one of several talents from a "golden generation" blossoming across the pond.
"He could move to the Premier League and it might even be Newcastle,” he told VegasInsider. “He would be a great addition to some of the middle-tier teams in the Premier League."
"I think Weston McKennie would do great in the Premier League. I believe it has helped him a lot being in the Bundesliga and Serie A. He has developed his tactical skills in Italy, and if you want to learn how to defend, Italy is the place to go."

Clark's latest column
When it comes to pressure or talk of a free hit, I dont think Howe works that way. He sets such high standards that'll he be going to Tottenham expecting to get a result.
I certainly have great belief they can go there and get a result. This team is performing on all levels to a really high standard, both on and off the ball. I don't think they have to fear anybody.
They didn't fear going to Anfield where for a couple of refereeing decisions, they would have got a result. They were terrific against Manchester City at home, on another day with a little bit of luck they could have taken all three points.
