“I struggled with it, if I’m honest. Everything built up. I just thought, at that time, it was the right time to finish. Come out of the game and do something else with whatever time I have left in this life."

'Eddie just believed in me' - Emil Krafth reflects on dramatic Newcastle United turnaround
Emil Krafth believes the Magpies must continue to go step by step in their quest to reach the top of the Premier League. The Swedish international signed a new contract this week with the 27-year-old ecstatic with Eddie Howe's offer.
It's all a far cry from Krafth's early days on Tyneside as he adapted to life in the Premier League not to mention the days of fierce fan protests under the management of Steve Bruce and unpopular owner Mike Ashley.
"I’m very happy to stay at Newcastle, to extend my stay here with one more year," Krafth told ChronicleLive's Lee Ryder.
"I think I played really well last season. After Tripps [Kieran Trippier] got injured, he [Eddie Howe] gave me the chance, and I think I took it. I think I deserve to have an extension. We had a good talk, me and the club and my agent. I’m very happy that we found a solution here."
'I would have gone there' - Hugo Ekitike's Newcastle United claim amid PSG transfer
New Paris Saint Germain striker Hugo Ekitike has confirmed he would have made the switch to Newcastle this summer had the French giants not made a move for his services.
The striker told French outlet Le10 Sport he would have joined Newcastle this summer had it not been for the interest of PSG, who recently signed the 20-year-old forward on loan from Reims.
"I’m not setting aside everything Newcastle did for me to come," Ekitike told Le10 Sport. "If I had to go abroad, I would have gone there. But when PSG wants you and you’re French, you can’t refuse."
