Work begins amid training ground improvements
Bulldozers are said to have begun descending on Newcastle United's training ground at Benton amid the scheduled improvements to the site.
A extension on the current facilities is said to go ahead later this summer, with the work hoping to be completed before the beginning of the new campaign in August.
Images of the former outdoor dining area near the canteen being bulldozed to make way for a new walkway on to the training fields have started to appear on Twitter.
