Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe was approached by a pitch invader who raced into the technical area during the 2-2 draw at Elland Road.
Both the home side's stewards and Newcastle's own security guard were quick to intervene along with Simon Weatherstone and United coaches.
The Leeds fans was then escorted down the tunnel as tempers flared at Elland Road.
The incident came at the start of stoppage time as Howe composed himself to watch a free-kick with the score locked at 2-2.
The incident will surely lead to an internal investigation by the home club with the middle aged man guided down the sidelines and out of the stadium.
Newcastle fan Leo said on Twitter: "Absolute joke he's managed to get right beside him, could of had anything on him."
