Newcastle United will be without Alexander Isak and Allan Saint-Maximin for Wednesday's clash with Everton.
The Magpies record-signing will be out of action until after the World Cup after reinjuring his thigh. He enjoyed a dream debut with a goal against Liverpool, but has mustered just two more appearances and now faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
It is another muscle problem which will impact Eddie Howe's selection for the visit of the Blues as the tricky winger, Saint-Maximin, will also be absent.

The 25-year-old has been out since the beginning of October, his last meaningful minutes came in the form of a 12-minute cameo in their impressive win over Brentford.
Newcastle have made a decent start to the campaign and are unbeaten in their last five, winning three. They picked up a valuable point away at fellow European hopefuls Manchester United as they sit sixth.
Detailing their two key injury concerns, the 44-year-old said: "So Alex [Isak], we don't think we'll see again before the World Cup. Unfortunately, he's had set-back on his thigh. Maxi [Allan Saint-Maximin] has had a very, very minor irritation to his hamstring but that's the third time it has happened.
"Although it is a very minor injury, because it is an occurrence, we may have to be careful with his timescales but we do hope to see him before the World Cup break.
"We haven't had any fresh injuries for a while," Howe continued. "I think the problem here is when you have reoccurring injuries and I said this after Manchester United, they're a double hammer blow for us.
"You're always going to get injuries but if you don't get your injuries back that you've had, the situation can look difficult. That's on us really, as a medical team, sports science team to make sure that doesn't happen."
Fabian Schar and Jonjo Shelvey are the only other injury concerns for Howe. The Austrian has been nursing a long-term foot injury but is expected to be in contention.
Meanwhile, the former Swansea midfielder would only be used in an "emergency", the Magpies boss confirmed.
