Martin Dubravka has Premier League clubs monitoring his situation at Newcastle United this summer.
The Slovakia international has had interest from Manchester United in the past but stayed loyal to Newcastle and signed a long-term deal in 2019, extending his contract until 2025. However, he now faces a huge challenge to remain number 1 with Nick Pope arriving from Burnley this summer.
The England international and Dubravka are likely to share goalkeeping duties, along with Karl Darlow, this pre-season. But Dubravka's agent David Zik is carefully assessing the situation. Zik, speaking in the Press in Slovakia, was asked if any of Newcastle's English top-flight rivals interested in the former Sparta Prague shot-stopper and said: "Yes, there are. But I really can't be more specific at this point."

Zik had made it clear that he does not see Dubravka as a back-up option and there was talk of interest from around Europe last week. For now, Dubravka stays on Tyneside and has already started pre-season.
But Zik added: "He doesn't just want to cover someone's back, but he clearly wants to be in goal."
Dubravka had spoken more optimistically about the 2022/23 season back in May, albeit before Pope's arrival, when he said: "We have shown how we have improved under this manager.
"Now we are already looking forward to next season and where we can finish, what we can achieve. I know that we are just at the beginning of the new era. But hopefully we can bring back the good times to Newcastle."
