Newcastle United supporters have stressed the importance of Allan Saint-Maximin's performance this afternoon after the winger was restored to the starting line-up. Eddie Howe has not started the French playmaker in the Premier League since August but he's been given an opportunity this afternoon.
The winger starts in the absence of Bruno Guimaraes who will miss the next three games through suspension. The Brazilian was shown a straight red in the Magpies' win over Southampton in the Carabao Cup.
Saint-Maximin is the only to the side that won against the Saints in midweek, with Joelinton moving into the heart of midfield. Fans were pleased to see the winger back in action from the start.
