Newcastle students will be able to bag major discounts during a special shopping night in Eldon Square this week.
New Look, All Saints and H&M are among the high street stores offering students up to 50% off during the centre's annual student shopping night on Tuesday, September 27. Taking place from 4pm to 8pm, the event will enable shoppers to claim deals from more than 60 fashion and beauty brands.
Students will also have the chance to enjoy money off in some of the centre's restaurants, which will be open past 8pm, including ASK Italian and Smash Burger. The event - now in its 11 year - will feature music from a DJ and a number of games and activities including a popcorn giveaway, Junkyard Golf, and Schuh's popular 'spin the wheel' prize game.
Tania Kelly, marketing manager at Eldon Square, said: “It gives us great pleasure to host one of the centre’s most popular events again this year and provide students of North East with an opportunity to enjoy huge bargains across our wide range of retail brands and restaurants whilst having great fun on the night. The student shopping night is a truly busy vibrant night, transforming shopping into a unique experience with lots of in-centre activities, and we look forward to welcoming the students to celebrate the beginning of the new term in Eldon Square.
“The record number of our retailers signing up to participate in the evening is a very positive sign that our event is growing by the year, and we are expecting the footfall to hit a record high as well.”
Students can register now for the student shopping night via the Eldon Square website to claim their free e-ticket. The e-ticket must be shown to participating stores, alongside a photographic student ID, to redeem the offers and discounts.
