Newcastle are keen to build on their success during the second half of the season when they produced Champions League form in 2022.

Newcastle are keen to make long-term signings who will help the Toon develop and intend to be busy this summer.
Mirror Sport has the latest transfer updates, including news on a £7.5million offer for a giant French defender, a tussle with Jose Mourinho for a Belgian prospect and the latest on Jack Harrison.

Faes has impressed at Ligue 1 side Stade Reims and they are prepared to cash in on him for 10million euros or £8.5million. Italian sides Lazio, Hellas Verona and Cagliari are also interested in the 24-year-old.
Newcastle have an advantage over their rivals in that Faes has previously said he would prefer to move to the Premier League.
Newcastle offer £7.5million for Le Harve's Toure
Newcastle have joined the race for Le Havre's coveted 6ft 9ins defender Souleymane Isaak Toure, according to FootMercato.
Toure is just 19 and has enjoyed an outstanding season with Le Havre in Ligue 2. Lille and Marseille have already shown interest in him while he is also on AC Milan and Real Madrid's radar.
Now Newcastle are eyeing him up and are said to be ready to offer £7.5million for the giant defender, who even dwarfs the Toon's Dan Burn.
Newcastle will bid for Leeds' Harrison
Newcastle are prepared to test Leeds' resolve to hang on to Jack Harrison with a bid for the left winger.
Harrison is in demand after a second successive season in the Premier League and finished Leeds' second top scorer with 10 goals.
Leeds would be reluctant to lose Harrison, especially with Raphinha and Kalvin Phillips' futures uncertain, and Newcastle feel their chances have been hit by the Whites' final-day escape act, claims The Telegraph.
Tottenham, who are prepared to give Antonio Conte up to £150million to spend this summer, are also keen on Harrison.
