Film fans and families can take advantage of summer-long deals at a city centre cinema which has slashed its prices until September, with tickets up for grabs for just £5.
Newcastle 's Tyneside Cinema is also offering £3 Kids Club deals which means big savings for families over the school summer holidays. The independent venue's Summer of Cinema programme will feature new films as well as some classics over coming weeks.
And it says that they all are available at a "massively discounted" price right up until September. Its idea, it adds, is to make tickets "super-affordable" in a difficult year, which has seen the cost of living rocket.

Customers can buy daytime tickets for £5 - before 5pm - and then evening tickets will cost £7. Its popular Tyneside Kids Club will offer children's tickets at £3 and all the discounts apply every day of the week.
Those who are signed up as members of Tyneside Cinema will get a further discount. Among the films in the programme is psychological horror She Will; Indian adventure RRR; award-winning filmmaker Jay Bedwani’s trans documentary Donna; black and white drama The Big City and documentary Kurt Vonnegut: Unstuck In Time.
In addition the cinema a huge range of films over the summer, including some of those which proved most popular throughout its history. The only tickets that will cost more will be those for the occasional special event or double-bill.
