A sea swimmer was rescued by the Coastguard in Co Down on Tuesday night after getting into difficulties.
Newcastle Coastguard members were tasked to the scene at Killough pier yesterday evening. The lady was brought to safety and met by coastguards and paramedics.
Police were also in attendance after they received the report of a woman having "fallen onto rocks". They said: "Officers, along with colleagues from other emergency services were in attendance. There were no serious injuries reported."

The Coastguard said: "Newcastle Coastguard team was tasked to Killough at 6pm [on Tuesday] after a sea swimmer got into difficulty close to the pier. A local RIB came to her assistance, bringing her to safety on the shore where she was met by coastguards and paramedics.
"Also attending were Portaferry Coastguard team, Portaferry lifeboat, the Fire and Rescue Service and PSNI."
SDLP councillor Gareth Sharvin praised the Coastguard and encouraged local people to attend a youth water safety event happening tonight.
He said: "Thank you to the Coastguard for everything they do. I hope the lady is doing ok and recovering from what I am sure was a traumatic experience. It’s important that we are all aware of water safety and what steps to take it in difficulty or see someone that is.
"Tonight at the pier we have a youth water safety event from 4-6pm for 10-17 year olds. I would encourage everyone to come and along."
