Newcastle United right-back and Kieran Trippier has sent a three-word message to Harry Kane after the Tottenham striker struck late to secure a 3-2 win against Manchester City.
It was a vintage display from Kane and the finest seen from him under Antonio Conte stewardship, with his last minute header sending the Italian flying into the arms of his staff.
A perfect through-ball allowed Son Heung-min to set up Dejan Kulusevski for a first half opene,r and Kane was on hand to turn in a cross from the South Korean in the second half after Ilkay Gundogan's equaliser.
Riyad Mahrez appeared to have ensured the spoils would be shared in injury time from the penalty spot, but Spurs had other ideas.
Kulusevski floated a teasing ball in the City box and Kane simply could not resist, flying in ahead of Kyle Walker to secure all three points for the visitors.
Conte could not hide his admiration for the player after the game either.
"Harry for sure we’re talking about a world class striker," he told his post-match press conference.
"He’s working, he’s working very well. I think that he’s improving also on the physical aspect and I'm working with him also to become a point of reference for us.
"I think that my aspiration, I repeat, is to arrive at the end of the season and to see every single player improve after the work that we’re doing."
Conte was not alone in his praise for Kane, and one person who chimed in was Kane's England teammate and Premier League returnee Kieran Trippier.
Taking to Instagram after Kane had shared his post-match thoughts, Trippier commented with a three-word verdict of "What a player" along with a series of flame emojis.
Trippier completed his move to Newcastle from Atletico Madrid during the January transfer window and has scored twice in his last two appearances.
However, a broken bone in his foot is set to leave him sidelined for a number of weeks.
