New Zealand v Ireland live stream: How to watch Rugby League World Cup showdown

Ireland are pursuing one of the World Cup's all-time shocks as they take on New Zealand looking to book their place in the World Cup quarter-finals. The Wolfhounds must win to progress having lost to Lebanon last week. The Cedars take on Jamaica and are heavy favourites to win their final group game.

Ged Cororan's side are big underdogs against the Kiwis, who are one of the favourites to win the tournament. They will book their place in the quarter-finals and a clash against the Group D runners up should they advance. To make matters worse, Ireland are without both of their starting props, Liam Byrne and Jaimin Jolliffe, due to suspension.

Just like every other game at the Rugby League World Cup, the contest is being shown on the BBC. On this occasion, the game is being shown on BBC Three Sky 117 or 173, Freesat 107, Freeview 109 & Virgin 107), and BBC iPlayer, which can be used online, via the red button or gaming consoles such as the PS5.
